It is no surprise that scientist have found that eating a low carb diet, regardless of if it is Atkins, Zone or Ornish, is not as effective as counting calories. Keep in mind that any diet that you go on will not be a success if you do not in fact change your life style and add exercise to your daily activities.

Study’s have proven that diet alone will not help you to shed those extra pounds and to keep it off. If you in fact want to change your life style and add fat burning exercise to your weekly routine then you will be able to melt the pounds away and get back into the shape you desire.

So if you are trying to look for the latest and greatest way to lose love handles, get rid of belly fat or begin body building the key to remember is not which diet you go on but on how much you eat. Reducing your calorie intake combined with exercise will help you to get rid of that extra weight and bring you back down to your desired weight.

It is possible for you to lose those extra pounds and to no longer be a part of the epidemic spreading across America, the epidimic of obesity that is. It is easier and less time consuming for one to keep track of their calories and adding exercise to your daily routine is as easy as taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Really you can stop there, you had me at pleasurable!

To think that hard work and perseverance could be pleasurable. I have also had a similar struggle with weight lose and being more conscious of my health. Finding out at age twenty-seven that I was Diabetic and mildly, to say the least over weight. After speaking to a Doctor about my diet she had given me a target weight that was 40 to 60 pounds lighter than I was at the time. So I decided that it was time to lose the belly fat and get rid of the love handles. I looked into exercising with everything from abdominal equipment to free-weights. I had little luck of shedding the pounds till I really decided to approach both aspects of physical health.
I used a treadmill for the cardio and some free-weights with some machines for toning not to mention a little bodybuilding. I looked for diets that really worked for my condition and me. Low carb was the way, I had to plan the diet to lower my carb intake but not starve myself. I found a diet that worked with fruits and veggies to help keep me my carbs at a normal range but with a natural approach. I had to increase the amount of protein I had, to help keep myself in check with the current change in physical condition. I really do feel much more energetic and refreshed from dropping quite a few pounds so in short it is pleasurable to lose weight.

DIET DISCIPLINE – GO FOR LOW-CARB FOOD

It is everyone’s dream to remain slim, healthy and to have right curves in the right places. Who does not want to be slide into any outfit their desire and do justice to the dress as well as themselves? Many people when the do not appreciate what they see in the mirror, resolve to go on a diet start on some exercises , but when the results are not very encouraging , they go back to their old life styles and plump figures. Some keep on trying at regular intervals, while others give up altogether and resign themselves to the fact that they are destined to remain that way. You will even notice such people eulogizing fat and why being slim is not everything in this world!

But, now it is an accepted theory that low-carb diet does help you lose weight. Since you are not eliminating carbohydrate from your food altogether, but sticking such carbohydrates which are not high in calorie content, you do not feel excessively tired too. Here, you are also required to have a chart as to which low-carb diets can be clubbed and how they should be had. Indiscriminate pattern of having low-carb foods may not get you the desired results. This is the very first step towards dieting.

Not all fruits are good while dieting and not all fruits are bad too. Consuming such fruits which are not high in calorie should be good. Here, one must avoid bananas and water melons and such fruits which have high sugar content along with the food. They could probably be had in place of food but not along with the food. Have such fruits which have more water content. Avoid such meats which do not go well with low-carb diets. Experts say that livers should be shunned while dieting, as it contains lots of calories. That applies to dairy products too. Choose them with care. Whatever you do, do not forget to maintain a chart which tells you how much you have consumed and how much fat you have lost in the process. That will regularize your eating pattern.

Follow a strict diet schedule and above all, believe in yourself that you can lose weight. Your patience will be rewarding in the long run.
