What many people don’t realize is that sugar decreases your energy after that initial boost wears off, and it sticks with you, turning into excess pounds. By choosing a healthy diet, and even a small exercise plan you will be headed in the right direction.

Sugars tend give you a fat stomach so one of the main areas you want to work into your new exercise routine is your abs. There are a lot of great exercises out there that will work your abs, but it is necessary for you to go out and buy equipment or videos. By doing something as simple as crunches or sit-ups you will work your abs. Aerobics are another great exercise that helps you reduce belly fat .

Water is a good drink for those of you trying to quit sugar or get rid of belly fat, there are no sugar additives to worry about. However, for those of you that like flavored water be careful that there is no added sugar. By checking labels you will greatly reduce your chance of slipping up along your journey. There are some foods that you wouldn’t suspect actually have a lot of sugar in them such as canned corn, or even ketchup. There is no reason that your diet has to be bland, just well planned so you actually know what you are eating.
