If you are concerned about your weight and attempting to reduce belly fat you will likely need to use a multi-pronged approach. In fact the odds are probably good that you have tried multiple approaches but none in isolation worked. You may even have gotten weight off at some point and had successful exercise and diet routines but have fallen trap to weight issues again. The reason that attempting to loose love handles permanently is so hard has to do with the fact that losing weight truly requires an all-encompassing shift in actions and attitude. Everyone knows that working out and dieting properly are very important. This is all easier said than done though given that we have our own diet routines and comfort foods and given that working out is hard and takes time that we may feel we do not have. This avoids what is perhaps the biggest obstacle to weight loss in modern life though. That obstacle is stress. Stress by its very nature can lead to a decline in health. While under stress you will have hormones in your blood that facilitates the storing of fat. You will also be more likely to splurge on comfort foods and avoid workouts while under stress.
