However, this problem can be solved in a very simple way like having controlled diet with low calories and fats, daily moderate physical exercise, avoiding smoking etc. Daily 30-60min exercise reduces your body fat and cholesterol in the blood thus you always feel healthy. In the recent years scientist have shown that consumption of high fiber containing foods like oat, cereals etc can reduce down your body fat and cholesterol thereby you can lose extra weight and your heart remains healthy. However, a recent work in Nature Genetics suggested that mutation of specific genes in cardiomyocytes can lead to cardiovascular dysfunction in heart thus can lead to heart failure and this mutation is genetical  to most of the south asian populations.
