According to many people, a good health is the gift of God that helps one person live happily and peacefully. However, to be fortunate to get this precious gift of God, one should take care of the body’s main organ, heart which plays a crucial to be alive. Thus, this organ should be taken care as like a mother takes care of her baby. There are different factors that control the fitness of the heart like diet cholesterol and fat content, physical exercise etc. Consumption of lot of food with high fat content may lead to accumulation of extra fats in the belly and also increases the blood cholesterol level. These fats and cholesterol deposition in the blood vessels of heart may lead to blockade of blood supply thus can lead to stroke. However, this problem can be solved in a very simple way like having controlled diet with low calories and fats, daily moderate physical exercise, avoiding smoking etc. Daily 30-60min exercise reduces your body fat and cholesterol in the blood thus you always feel healthy. In the recent years scientist have shown that consumption of high fiber containing foods like oat, cereals etc can reduce down your body fat and cholesterol thereby you can lose extra weight and your heart remains healthy. However, a recent work in Nature Genetics suggested that mutation of specific genes in cardiomyocytes can lead to cardiovascular dysfunction in heart thus can lead to heart failure and this mutation is genetical to most of the south asian populations. However, these types of conditions are out of the scope of the present discussion. A common person having controlled diet with a moderate physical exercise can keep his/her heart healthy thus can be healthy for a longer time.
