We human beings are very funny kind. We take pleasure in taking an ideal situation for granted and go about neglecting it and when the condition deteriorates, at times due to our own follies, then we rave and rant and start working towards remedial measures. We follow the same practice or rather wrong practice with our health too. When we are slim and slender, we throw caution to winds and gorge on everything delicious and make merry. Once we discover that we have put on extra ugly masses in all those places which are easily visible, then we cry hoarse and start working on corrective measures. WE must remember that it is far easier to put on weight than it is to lose extra pounds. Some are blessed though. They do not put on weight easily even if they indulge in foods with high calories. Each person’s body reacts differently to various foods.

Before trying to lose weight, we must always bear this in mind. What strategy works on one person, may not work on the other. With a particular diet pattern, you may not lose the same amount of weight as the person next to you. Try to understand your body well before embarking on a slimming spree. Obey the dictum of your body and do not blindly follow any professed pattern, however good the source may be. Of course, the three tenets of slimming are diet, exercises and nutritional supplements. Draw out a diet chart and stick to it scrupulously and seek the help of people around you to cooperate and support your mission. Do not starve but have small low calories portions at regular intervals. Follow it up with nominal exercises and diet supplements to ensure that you do not suffer from any deficiency. Try out natural fat binders like Proactol under a physician’s guidance. Scour the internet too for more detailed inputs. Have small goals and achieve them instead of setting unachievable targets.
