Abs exercise — can damage spine and cause threatening effects.
Its a new fact to know that, by doing abs crunching you are damaging your spine severely. In a research work at Texas Back Institute, this fact is now proved that abs exercise weakens the back portion and mainly the spine. This new will really shock you, as people are mostly doing abs crunching to reduce their tummy, and indirectly they are creating a new problem for them, the damaging of spine. In the research, it was found that, abs exercise effects the weakest portion of the spine. It can cause you back pain, leg pain, weakness ,etc. One must not look at those exercises which bend your spine, but rather one must look at those exercises in which your back is kept straight and your body muscles stretch completely such as push ups. Really push ups will keep your spine straight and it will burn your lot of fat as well, providing exercise to your whole body. If you want to make your abs perfect or you have to reduce your tummy then you have to do weight training and cardiovascular both, as their combination will make your body perfect. A third thing is also necessary i.e. your nutrition (a balance diet), which is must for your body.
