Exercises for belly fat are design to target the stubborn fat around your belly. But just targeting this area for exercise; does it really help to loose belly fat fast? More likely, if you have belly fat than other parts of your body have excess fat too.

Just targeting exercises for belly fat will not give you fast results in reducing your stomach size. You need to get a good overall body workout where the main focus can be your belly and also a proper diet plan.

Hula Hoop Are You Sure?

Hula hoop is a round plastic tube with a hole in the middle. It comes in various colours, is cheap to buy and great fun to use. Spending just 10 minutes each day twirling a hula hoop around your waist will do wonders to burn the fat.

You can break the 10 minute routine to smaller time units for example 2 minute intervals. Twirling a hula hoop can be done in the comfort of your own home whilst watching T.V or listening to the radio. This is a great form of exercise that is fun and will help in sculpting your body.

Everyone’s Favourite The Stomach Crunch

There are so many variations of the stomach crunch but they are all design to work the core stomach muscles. Not only should you target the core but also the “love handles” on the sides.

This exercise is cheap and does not require any equipment.

Lie down on your back pull your legs up so that your knees are facing the ceiling. Put your hands behind your head, take a deep breadth in and hold your stomach. Now slowly rise up a few inches off the ground using your stomach to pull you up, breathe in whilst doing this. Than move back down, keeping your stomach taunt breathing out. Repeat these 10 times and than take a short break. Do these exercise 3 times.

To target the love handles do exactly as above but instead of lying on your back lie on your right side, than your left side legs stretched out in front of you and follow the same procedure as above.

This exercise is so simple to do that it can be done though out the normal day no matter what you are doing. It is very effective and easy way to tighten the stomach muscles.

Just breathe in and hold your belly in for as long as possible. Keep repeating this exercise all day long. You will be surprised at the results that can be achieved with this simple exercise.

So far we have looked at exercises for belly fat but for these exercises to be effective you need to work on other areas of your body.

The best form of exercise to burn fat in any part of your body is aerobic type of exercises like running, swimming, cycling, walking or dancing.

Do one of the above aerobic exercises 3 times per week for 30 minutes. This in conjunction with the stomach exercises will help you loose belly fat fast.

There you have it some of the best exercises for belly fat. There are other forms of exercise to trim your belly but just doing belly exercises will not help you loose those inches. You need to do a complete body workout and following a good diet plan also helps reduce that belly fat fast.

I would like to add to this that people should also use good posturing as a way of losing fat. Posturing yourself correctly will have you toned!
